I saw on TikTok that McDonald's in Japan sells shrimp nuggets, and I had been craving them for weeks! Instead of booking a flight to Tokyo, I made them myself and saved a plane ticket. 😉

Neutral oil (for deep frying)
For Garnishing:
Furikake
Green onions
Hoisin sauce
Instructions:
✨ Prepare the filling:
Add all the filling ingredients to a food processor and blend into a smooth mixture.
Line a plate with parchment paper and form nugget shapes using a spoon. Place them on the plate.
Freeze the nuggets for 1 hour to firm up.
✨ Prepare the batter & fry:
4. In a bowl, mix all the coating ingredients.
5. Heat oil in a pot or deep fryer to about 170°C (340°F).
6. Dip each frozen nugget into the batter and carefully lower it into the hot oil.
7. Fry for about 5 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
✨ Serve & enjoy:
8. Garnish with green onions, furikake, and drizzle with hoisin sauce.
These are crispy, flavorful, and dangerously addictive! 🤤 Enjoy!
